Hello again! As I mentioned in my last post, the month is a Distress Ink focused month. But soon it will be konfirmasjon time so I wanted to address that as well.
And so, I present a somewhat unconventional konfirmasjon card!
I blended the background with Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord& the new, gorgeous Villainous Potion Distress Inks. Doesn't it make the most beautiful, gradient purple background ever?! I think so.
I really wanted the background to be the star so I wanted to cover it up as little as possible. I stamped a portion of MFT's Floral Focus stamp and embossed it with Villainous Potion embossing powder. I felt it needed a bit more so I added some splatter and painted some darker areas on the flowers with the Villainous Potion Spray Stain. (You have to know I have *every* possible product in this color.) I went over the darker areas of the flower with a Nuvo glitter pen to give it a bit of sparkle.
I have an *old* konfirmant stamp and added some random butterflies from my stamp collection that I embossed in silver.
I thought it needed some bling though as this is a special occasion so I pulled out some random purple bling and then took out all the flowers from this bling mix.
I added the Distress panel to my cardstock base and considered it complete!
Until next time...
